Still, keep it up! Pray Everyday! 1-27-2026

What did you do again?  Pray every day! Did you commit to pray this month through?

When we make a commitment to a person we need to remember to do the thing, if we don't it is often rude or can cause a problem for the person we commited to be there for.

For instance if we commit to meet someone for a Bible study and don't show up for no good reason, the person may feel like you didn’t care about spending time with them. Or

your friend may have had to hire a baby sitter or take extra time from work to meet you for lunch and if you flake on them it can create an issue. (Not sure why I thought of that one!)

Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be achieved. Proverbs 16:3

Commit your way to the Lord ; trust in Him; and He will do it. Psalms 37:5

The Lord will bless you in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete. Deuteronomy 16:15

Teach me to do your will for you are my God. Mayyour gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.  Psalm 143:10

If we know to do something according to the Word of God the right thing, and we do not do it them we are sinning. We donot want to do that do we!

Keep your commitment to pray everyday! The Lord will bless you for it, when you commit to do something that has to do with Him. We trust that He will encourage us in our prayer times, even if they are short; that He will answer our prayers. Look at all He has done for us in the past and lets thank Him today for helping us to commit our ways to His ways, and to Him. Let's thank Him for directing our paths (Proverbs 3:5-8).

Heavenly Father, thank you for guiding us each day in Your Word, and in prayer with You. Help us to keep on praying everyday so that our commitment to follow you will remain strong and not waver. Help us to communicate with You every morning and other times as we go through the day so that our connnection and relationship with You will grow closer and stronger too!

In Jesus' name, amen
