<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>This is the same chapter that we read about Jesus asking the
Father if there is any other way to get the job done. The job being our
Salvation Sacrifice. If you go didn’t start in the beginning of Matthew 26 you
would not realize that just days, before he was at Simon whom he had healed of Leprosy’s
house eating seemingly in control of his emotions. Jesus had just finished
telling them by way of parables and stories of how it would be after He was
gone. How people would turn against one another, and that God could tell if
they were seriously in sync with Him. He pretty much tells us to get right with
God when we read it. Then He goes on to share this below. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to
his disciples, “As you know, Passover begins in two days, and the Son of Man
will be handed over to be crucified.”<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>At that same time the
leading priests and elders were meeting at the residence of Caiaphas, the high
priest, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>plotting how to capture Jesus
secretly and kill him. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></i></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>“But not during the Passover celebration,”
they agreed, “or the people may riot.”<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man
who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a
beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over his head.<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>The disciples were indignant when they saw this. “What a
waste!” they said. “It could have been sold for a high price and the money
given to the poor.”<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></i></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><i style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">But Jesus, aware of this,
replied, “Why criticize this woman for doing such a good thing to me? You will
always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>She has poured this perfume on me to prepare
my body for burial. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I tell you the
truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s
deed will be remembered and discussed.”<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Matthew
26:1-13</i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>He is sharing such important stuff and I often wonder, did
they all really know the whole story? We hear about Peter James and John
following Him to prayer later but what about the rest? Well other than Judas. Of
course, you need to stop and go read the whole chapter right? <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So in really thinking on this I began thinking about how so
many people the world today do not even know who Jesus is. Oh, sure we think
everyone could hear of Him via tv, internet etc. For sure they all know who He
rally is! <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>But no!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I tell you
the truth that many think they know who He is but are being lead down the wrong
path. Or they are bored with the idea of a God who is in charge and want to try
to be in control of their lives to the extent that they think they can be nice
enough to get to heaven someday, if they even really believe in Heaven. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>I didn’t really know about Jesus, even though I grew up
reading what I could and watching the 10 Commandments movie each year I did not
know who God was. I really was drawn to anything that talked about God, Jesus,
and their lives and interactions with people who apparently were from Bible
Times. I had no idea I was hearing bible teachings taught to me because I did
not know God yet. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>I say ‘yet’ because it took<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>a lot for Him to get my real attention and though I would write out my
whole testimony here it would take too many pages. So, suffice it to say I will
get it out there soon!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I am working on
writing and speaking it out because I feel like it is time!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Let me tell you this, if I could look for God
on television and in books and everyplace, even a couple churches, and not find
Jesus, well many others can’t either! I did not find Jesus until He let me know
He was there. I read my little New Testament and in the back it told me what to
do. But I had to decide if I believed. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>That is the main point here! If you are reading this today
take a moment an write own at least 3 reasons and more if you can, but why you
believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and why you want Him to be your Lord of your
life. Find a scripture that encourages you to believe and add that to it
too!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Then keep it in your Bible, or on
your fridge so you can remind yourself why!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>It will be encouraging to you and should encourage you to find more
reasons!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, you and your household
was told to a jailor who saw the hand of God move to open all the prisoners and
yet none of them left. You can read about that in Acts 16. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So I end with this today; seek the Lord while He may be
found!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In Jesus name, and In His love~<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>People sometimes think that becoming a Christian means everything
will get easy. There will be no worry, or struggles, no crying, no pain. Well,
I want to give you a heads-up today; these things will come but not in the
world we live in today! Even so we must attempt to follow the rules that God
gave us, when we do His commands in the way which He has given us to do them we
can do it! Jesus sent us the Helper, the Holy Spirit, to guide us in the Way.
He shows us how to live in peace, love, and hope even during times of worry, struggles
or pain. He helps us make it through the rough patches with our heads lifted
high looking to Jesus knowing it will indeed get better, in His time and
knowing that He will indeed walk with us through it. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We can read about how Jesus stood there with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. They walked out of it unscathed! That
is how the Holy Spirit walks with us through our troubles. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>He also wants us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
How do you love yourself? I clean, clothe and feed myself. I care what I eat
and don’t allow myself to just eat old moldy bread, so I would not pass that on
to my neighbors. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So, who is my neighbor? Not just the Martinez family , but
really anyone around me can be my neighbor, and I should treat them with the
same kindness as I expect from them. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>According to 365 Days in His love by Teresa
Wilson ‘Anyone who is in need, or not. Anyone whom we meet , or see, or walk
by, or shop near, or talk to. These are our neighbors. The poor, the sick, the
hungry, the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>homeless, the addict, the
rich, the strong, the weak. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Look around you,
the rich or poor are your neighbors. Love them, with His love.’<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>John 15:9 tells us to live on in His love by loving others
as God the Father has loved us. He loved us by removing the debt of our sins by
giving us Jesus as our sacrifice for them. We do not owe anything for our sins
because Jesus took on that debt and paid it in full! We can show mercy, and
walk in His mercy in order to show that love to one another. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>How ever we read the verse it will tell us to live and love
like Jesus did, and does! <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Just do it! Get right with God and walk in His truth. Walk
in His promises they say! Today I want to tell us all we need to wake up like the
scripture below says, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed! We
need to walk in a way that people will know we are with Jesus. The love of God
needs to exude from within our <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>body,
soul and spirit! <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one
another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s
law. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>For the commandments say, “You must
not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not
covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one
commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to others, so
love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is;
time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we
first believed. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The night is almost
gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So, remove your dark deeds like
dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. Because we belong
to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the
darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral
living, or in quarreling and jealousy. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of
the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your
evil desires. Romans 13:8-14<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Stop walking in the world and claiming that you are
following God. He will not put you in worldly places, or situations if you are
following Him. He does not hand you the beer when you know better than drinking
it! Yes I said that! <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>We need to get real my friends, we need to walk right. We
need to talk right, dress right, live right in the eyes of God. He gave us the
best model to follow. Why would we want to live as less when He has made us
more? <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Heavenly Father, help us to walk like You, to talk like You,
and to give mercy like You today. Put blinders on us to keep us from the things
that would pull us away from you, open our eyes to see Your truth, Your way,
and Your light to walk in it and share the love of God with others, in Jesu</i></span><span style="color: #134f5c; font-family: Raleway;"><i>s’

our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.<o:p></o:p></span></span></i><p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">I always
thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you
belong to Christ Jesus. Through him, God has enriched your church in every
way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. 1 Corinthians
13:3-5<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">God has
given us gifts, specific to our person. He has not grouped many together with the
exact same gift at the same time, except maybe for the Holy Spirit that came at
Pentecost. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">As I
studied through the Word, my Bible, I saw many scriptures on God giving gifts,
but I see nothing about people deciding whose gift is what. There are spots
where the writers have encouraged us to figure out what the gifts are. There
are spots where we are to desire better, or more gifts. There are even places where the Disciples, or
Apostles are mentioning the importance of desiring the spiritual gifts. Still,
I could not find where anyone was told they had a gift of something that a
human gave them the skill or idea. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">Sometimes
I have noticed, and this is why I studied it, that there are people who sometimes try to push
someone into a gift they think the person would be good at. But it is not our
place to push someone to do what God has not yet told them to do, any more than
it is for us to decide they have the gift. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">It is the
gift of God. He gives them to us, our skills, or our supernatural skills are
given to us to use for God’s glory to the benefit of His kingdom and people
need to realize that sometimes your gift and my gift are not going to be the
same. For instant, there are different types of prayer people; some are group
prayer warriors’ others are intercessory prayer people whom God puts the person
on their heart and they run with it in prayer. This is not to say we cannot do
both, but we need to realize what type or prayer warrior we are to be in God’s
plan. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">Its like
when we have a gift of teaching, or preaching, we don’t just decide to do it we
have to know that it is God giving us the gift. Read the scriptures below. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"> </span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"> When Simon saw that the Spirit was given when
the apostles laid their hands on people, he offered them money to buy this
power. “Let me have this power, too,” he exclaimed, “so that when I lay my
hands on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!” <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">But Peter
replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be
bought! You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. Repent of your wickedness and pray to the
Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, for I can see that you are
full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.”<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;"> “Pray to the Lord for me,” Simon exclaimed,
“that these terrible things you’ve said won’t happen to me!” Acts 8:18-24<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">We cannot
just learn a gift and expect to be perfect in it on our own devices either.
Like Simon here, we cannot buy God’s blessings, He must give them to us and we
will know the difference, He will know the difference, and those we minister to
will also know the difference if we try to be someone other than whom God has
planned for us to be.<br /><o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">I am sure
we all have listened to teaching at some point and wondered how the person got
to teach something they did not really know about. When we try to walk in a
gift that was not ours to take it is a lot like that. Floundering around trying
to get the information out without any guidance by the Holy Spirit will become
a hindrance. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">If we try
to work in hospitality, for instance without knowing we have that calling we
may do a good job… for a while. Then we will get burned out and become a
complainer. God’s Word tells us not to complain which makes it a sin. I would
say we are not walking in our gift from God if we are sinning to do , are we? <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #38761d; font-family: Raleway;">We are to
walk cheerfully before our God, doing the deeds He puts before us, walking in
our callings as He has chosen. Let’s be sure we are prayerfully considering our
next step in walking in our calling. Accept God’s gifts and walk in them. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>

required a parental note saying yes she did. So when I gave it to her she took

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">As we near the end of the month of February I read this
section in the Word the other day and thought about how it sums it all up! By
it I mean how His love takes the fear away from us, or rather makes it not
needed, or null and void!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in
his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in
them. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And as we live in God, our love
grows more perfect. So, we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we
can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid,
it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced
his perfect love. 1 John 4:16-18<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Since God loves us this much we have no reason to fear, His
love has taken our punishment in the form of Jesus the Christ who died on the
cross for us, and rose again after taking on our punishment for all of our
sins. So, that means, when we fear pain, or fear ‘scary things’ it is useless
to feel the fear. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">According to the Words in verses 17-18 we do not <i>need </i>to fear
the final judgement because of Christ, and over all we really are fearful of
some sort of punishment that will never come for us. Then because we believe in the Lord
Jesus, and the saving, salvation, that He did for us on the cross also removes
the fear that we feel? That says it pretty plain. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Sometimes we can be anxious about things, but this is not
really fear is it? It doesn’t matter because the Word of God says not to be
anxious about anything. That instead we should with thanks give glory to God
and thank Him and praise Him instead of worrying or stressing or just feeling
that confusing feeling of fear. I hate to be the one to tell you, because I am
telling me too. That confusing feeling is not about God. Yes we get anxious, no
we can’t always just get through it on our own. We need God’s help!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>No we are not intended to be anxious, it is
not God’s plan for us. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Sometimes things happen to us because of circumstances in
our lives, and we do not know what to do about it. We do not always know how to
pray. <br />
Jesus teaches us how to pray. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">We do not always know what to ask. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Jesus tells us to ask anyway, the Holy Spirit will help us. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">We do not know why we feel anxious sometimes, in those times
we need, need , need to pray and ask God to show us the reason, ask Him to help
us not feel that way, and then remember that He loves us enough to take away
our sins, and our fears, so why not our anxiety too? <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">He can do it! Be anxious for nothing…Philippians 4:6 in NLT
version says it this way;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Check it out in your version and see if it doesn’t just sum
it all up! <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">Thank Jesus for showing us what to do with those oddities of
life! Read the Word and find the answers today! </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Raleway; font-size: medium;">What are you afraid of? everyone! To be kind to one another, and to put the other person before myself.</i></span></b></div></i></span>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Though today marks the passing of one of my parents more
than a dozen years back, I can thank the Lord for the good things they taught
me. We were taught to leave things better than we found them, to stick-up for family,
and today I find these two to be part of God’s plan for me. Growing up I
learned that sometimes we had to go out of our way for someone else, it was not
always easy. Later as I came to know who Jesus is I realized I was raised
according to the Word of God that my parents had been taught as younger people.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They taught us to do the right things.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Even when life got, well as life does, stuff
happens. <o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Jesus wants us to do the right thing too. He came to show us
the way to live our lives. The most important guidance comes from the verses below.
<o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from
God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not
love does not know God, because God is love. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This is how God showed his love among us: He
sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This
is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an
atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also
ought to love one another. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>No one has
ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is
made complete in us. 1 John 4:7-12<o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Love is a great place to start. When we love someone we want
to do good for them, over ourselves. When we love God we want to do what He
tells us to do in His Word. Love helps us to forgive others, to trust God and
to obey our people of authority. Oh no, I don’t mean you have to fall in love
with them I mean you need to love them as Christ loves you!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Not just when they are nice, but regardless
do unto them as you would they would do to you. If they don’t accept it<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>there is nothing you can do but pray for
them, but this here is talking about love God’s way being a way to show them
The Way.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Today I want us to decide to keep love alive this month! The
love of God I mean! Share Jesus’ love with someone every day this week. For one
thing you will feel good! For two the people who share with will receive a
blessing. <o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Share God’s love by telling someone to have a great day, or
that Jesus loves them, or surprise the person in line for coffee behind you and

to love one another as Christ did, read the rest of the chapter and get some
more inspiration! <o:p></o:p></i></span></b></p>

that are now in the Word of God, our Bibles. <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">The odd thing is that so many people do not see the good
things, they see the commands to be good or you don’t make it to heaven instead
of the wonderful and perfect things God puts before us. <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">I have to admit it is so easy to get caught up into the
wrong way of thinking when we do not keep our eyes on Jesus, and sometimes we
can get caught up in the cares of this world, or even life itself even when we
have read our daily read. This is why it is so important to do more than just
one weekly reading, or one daily verse. Though both of these are good for
babies in Christ, just as they too begin to eat more and more and grow more and
more in size; we need to ingest more of the Word so that we may grow as Christians!
We can grow in wisdom and knowledge, and we can grow in faith, and hope, and
love!<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">Peace is not something I have read as something that grows
but it can overwhelm us when it seemingly happens up on us. <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">Today, as its February, we are reading about love, the love
of God. God’s love is pure because God is actually love. The Bible said so! The more we follow God’s commands to love one another as He loved us the more we will
know that love in a more powerful way because when we love Him, and He loves
us, then we realize the joy that is in Him will also envelope us. The same as
Peace can overwhelm us, His love can too! When He overwhelms us with His love
we realize what a great thing this is that He loves us so much. <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain
in my love. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you keep my commands, you
will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in
his love. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I have told you this so that
my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>My command is this: Love each other as I have
loved you. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Greater love has no one than
this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do
what I command. John 15:9-14 niv<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">The more<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>you love
others, the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>more He loves you, and the
more He loves you, the more you can love one another! It’s a beautiful circle
isn’t it? <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="color: #ff00fe; font-family: Raleway;">This week, read as many verses on Love, thank God for His
love, and then go out and spread that love around, in Jesus’ name! </span></i><o:p></o:p></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://teresawilson.com/"><u>TeresaWilson.com</u></a></div>Teresa M. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>You think you are saved because you have faith? Sometimes faith
is not enough. Well it gets you to the I believe part but unless<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>we continue to step out in faith, or live our
lives as someone who believes by doing as Christ has shown us to do then we are
actually faith weak. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>By the way, we are saved by grace, but we accept that by
believing in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Don’t get that wrong, many do. We believe in
His grace to save us. We believe that He exists. But then we want to walk in
faith. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So what does that mean?<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>I have said before when teaching children or new believers, faith is
kind of like getting up in the morning and believing that there will be a floor
to stand on. You don’t need to tell yourself “I believe there will be a floor,”
you just do because when you moved into that house there was a floor. When you
went to bed there was a floor, and so you blindly trust there will be a floor. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Faith is something <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>like that. We believe, and we trust that God
exists and died for us and rose again, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and by His grace we are saved. We need to then
live it out. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>We prove there is a floor when we walk on it. We use it for
its purpose. <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So when we walk in faith, doing things accordingly proves
that we have faith. We use it! We do things in our day that show other people
and us that we have faith in God. Instead of a person who is selfish and all
about ourselves we walk according the Word of God and produce good things.
These can be helping someone in need or encouraging a person in line by telling
them to go before you. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It could be
giving up your place in line when you know you need to get back to work in
time, trusting that God will provide the minutes you need to get there is
actualy walking in faith! Though it sounds hard sometimes, walking in faith is
easy! <o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>So, you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it
produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some
people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me
your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good
deeds.”<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>You say you have faith, for you believe that
there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble
in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be
right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You
see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith
complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God,
and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>He was even called the friend of God. So, you see, we are
shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. James 2:17-24<o:p></o:p></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i></i></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2JkedTO4pjUXZ_4BAUK134vTdviMpj0P_th5x2_aTk4Du3PnIaTwB80mZAnFK-B1H0sZ9s29_3wElNKVi-De4oAELgLHsrofYqNjLDxzg1IUCIwtsu6q8_yWd4dHmsSGkH2Jx1dKMOSK5u2pshuuXP9OHjP0nkRgtPPiELy7wnqKCHmgx1MxmhntHuHw/s3024/20230910_093706.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2JkedTO4pjUXZ_4BAUK134vTdviMpj0P_th5x2_aTk4Du3PnIaTwB80mZAnFK-B1H0sZ9s29_3wElNKVi-De4oAELgLHsrofYqNjLDxzg1IUCIwtsu6q8_yWd4dHmsSGkH2Jx1dKMOSK5u2pshuuXP9OHjP0nkRgtPPiELy7wnqKCHmgx1MxmhntHuHw/s320/20230910_093706.jpg" width="320" /></a></i></span></div><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i><br />Let’s make it a challenge to show our faith, not just speak

you feel led by the Holy Spirit to do so! <o:p></o:p></i></span><p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #741b47; font-family: Raleway;"><i>Let’s make it extra fun and share some ideas you have that
would help someone else share their faith without saying “I have faith” but by
actions. Remember the saying ‘actions speak louder than words? Do that! <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Trust In His Love, believe then walk in that

contact and pray regularly for their needs, for rest and for encouragement. It

will never be answered as we asked because of whatever reason. It is easy to
get discouraged and stop praying thinking that as some people have foolishly
said “the answer was no” and keep struggling along trying to fix things
ourselves the best we can. God’s Word says to rejoice! To be confident in our
hope! Don’t allow doubt to get into your mindset! Be patient with God and when
your trouble stays longer keep looking to see what God is going to do with it!
Most of all, keep on praying every day, more often than that if needed! <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>

standing at the side of the pool watching as I went down a second time. I came
up floundering but kept trying to reach out. I was certain he was going to let
me drown. I sputtered “Help me” as I went down the third time. Then suddenly a
hand reached down into the water and yanked me up to the dry pavement. He saved

like to call that 'Prayching'! I have been guilty of this from time to time, the
thing is I get convicted of it even while I speak at times.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Then I remember the following verses and ask

I may have written about this verse already, but Jesus also repeated it three
times. He went off to pray three times and asked them to keep watch and pray
each of three times. This tells me that we need to be reminded things sometimes,
also that it is okay to repeat ourselves when the point did not get across.
Sometimes we are so tired of hoping, we do not think we can have the faith to
pray through. This is when our flesh is weak. One time for me God had my friend
Joanna suggest our group pray for me when I was in a ton of shoulder pain. I
already knew I had a torn rotator cuff, it was pretty<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>bad, but I was also loosing range of motion
by the day. She had everyone pray, I did not have the faith but God used the
faith of a few close friends and he healed me! I felt a hot line of what was
like a glue gun glueing my tear shape. I figured it was just my imagination until
my husband told me the Doctor was not able to find the tear that we saw on the
screen!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He did find a piece of bone ‘floating
around’ and that was a good thing to remove and I am grateful to God that I
went through the surgery just to have that blockage removed. I was weak but He
was strong. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>

or depressed for no reason at all that is the time to remember that the battle
belongs to the Lord! Our part is renewing our minds, and focusing on the good
things, not worrying about why we are depressed or downhearted. We need to

the rest of it you do not really gain the wisdom half the time. You have to
decide to be all in with God, not just portion of the information, not just
portions of faith that He will come through. God wants us to be completely trusting
in Him. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">If you need wisdom, ask our generous God,

him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with
divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed
by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in
everything they do. James 1:5-8<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></b></p>

The reason was that I heard people pray with such power and such might that I
didn’t think God would hear my little voice in the mix. So when it came to me in
a circle of prayer I would pass. One day God helped me to realize that He didn’t
care if it was a loud prayer or a quiet one as long as I realized that He was
the one hearing and deciding how to answer. I would say the following scripture
is a good description of how God does things. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>

God wants to hear our heartfelt personal speaking to Him personally no matter
who else hears or sees; its not about us, but about Him growing the seed, and
getting the glory for the good things He has done! <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord in the
morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. Psalm 5:3<o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">This has been made into a song as well a few times I am
sure but so are most of the Psalms of heart sounds! I believe that God planned
them to be songs that sing our love to Him. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">When we pray we speak our love to Him, we make our
requests be known to Him, and we look up to His presence. We often bow our
heads in reverence to the King of Kings as well. The main thing to remember is
to focus on the gratitude before the needs and desires. Our Lord is ready and
able to respond but we need to give Him the glory and honor and praise that is
His to receive. <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Heavenly Father, we give you thanks and praise for all

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Let’s keep it going! Today let’s make our prayer time
longer or more times of prayer per day! If you start your day in prayer, and
add on as you go through the day, you can kind of keep in constant prayer! <o:p></o:p></span></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Its like you have your friend on the phone while you do
your day. Jesus went back and forth praying with the Father asking or his cup
to pass from him, but he knew either way it had to be done. He called on his
Disciples to pray for Himself, that the ‘flesh would be strong’ in Him. His prayer
team kept falling asleep, probably because Jesus was praying long hard prayers.
<o:p></o:p></span></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep.
He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give
in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”<o:p></o:p></span></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My
Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.”
Matthew 26:40-42<o:p></o:p></span></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">I am not asking you to pray for one hour, but maybe more
than a five minute drive by prayer?</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">
</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">These </span>beginnings<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> to prayers are meant as a starter, kind of like a soup
starter? You begin with what I write, then pray as the Spirit leads you to! <o:p></o:p></span></span></i></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><i><span style="color: #800180; font-family: Raleway;">Heavenly Father, help us to pray. Keep us alert, awake,
