Prayer with Power ~ in His Word 1-10-2026

Paul prayed for those who he heard had strong faith in the Lord, do you think to do this?

Often people who have busy prayer lives, or serve at church come under a spiritual type attack. It can be in little things that cause a ripple effect in their lives like a loose shoe lace that can trip you up and end up taking you to a hospital situation or an attitude that sneak up and filters our day with discord. Either way we need to pray for our spiritual leaders, pastors, teachers, and such need our prayer support just as Paul does below.

Pastors are people too! They have lives to live that are sometimes ordinary and sometimes extrodinary but they always need us to pray for them.

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere,[I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,  asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:15-18

He also continued to pray for them to have the boldness they had but may not have realized that the Hoy Spirit in them was strong! They can take authority from Christ Jesus and when we pray we have access to that same power! Let's utilize it today!

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.  Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.  God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.  And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself. Ephesians 1:19-25

Heavenly Father, show us your glory! Grant us the powerful prayer answers that let us know You have heard our prayers and You are not only listening but responding in Jesus' name, and that we can pray for our leaders to give more Godly responses to things that are truly heartfelt and truthful. Lord that you would give them power in their service and strength in their
bodies as they continue in prayer and in service, in Jesus' name
