Pray, Trust, Recieve

Some trust in chariots and boast of the chariots, and some of horses, but we will trust and boast in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:

In my young adulthood people would tell me to go out searching for a husband in bars or other places to 'pick up' a guy, to find my future husband. Can I tell you I would not have found a man of the caliber I have had I gone there. God knew what kind of man I needed to be my spouse. He listened to my prayers for a husband, prayers to make me ready to be a good wife, and all of the love that would be between us. If I had trusted  myself I would still be single, but I chose to put my prayers and trust that God would bring Him to me.

Can you trust God to bring you the desires of your heart?

It may not be a husband that you are praying for but can you trust Him to do it?

May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers. Psalm 20:5

Today it I got to watch my dear friend see her prayers come to pass when he daughter and a grandson were baptized. It was the prayer of her grandmother as well. Watching these two baptized and showing that outward cry of God being their Lord and the director of their paths brought tears to my eyes! What a declaration to chose to have Jesus as our Lord!

Heavenly Father, thank you for being here today and touching the hearts and minds with prayers that were answered. Help us all to follow your steps, and live like Jesus being baptized and sharing the Truth and Love with others, In Jesus name
