Stop Complaining says James Chapter 5 In His Word 7-7-2025
Don’t grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you
will be judged. For look—the Judge is standing at the door! For examples of
patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who
spoke in the name of the Lord. We give great honor to those who endure under
suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can
see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness
and mercy. But most of all, my brothers and sisters, never take an oath, by
heaven or earth or anything else. Just say a simple yes or no, so that you will
not sin and be condemned. Chapter 5 verses 9-12
Stop complaining, life could be worse! For a lot of people
it is. Bit deal you have to clean the house each day when you get home from work!
Big deal you have to eat food for meals
that are not your favorite, you could
just not eat right?
So what if you are the only one who puts your clothes away
right away, or cleans your dishes right away and puts them back in the cupboard,
what good will it do to complain? Nothing! It doesn’t even really make you feel
better.
Also, the more you complain about others the worse you will
have to walk through, believe it or not! The more you complain, the more you
will complain, grumble, and get upset. The more you complain the more you will
find to complain about and trust me this is not a good thing!
We need to learn to accept the things as they come, be complacent,
and content! Like Paul!
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be
content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with
everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it
is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. Philippians 4:11-12
By the way, Philippians 4 has a lot of wisdom and advice!
Check out the whole chapter!
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It
is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus
Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a
priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and
undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God
is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready
to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is
wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little
while.1 Peter 1:3-6
Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only
wisdom can save your life. Accept the
way God does things, for who can straighten what he has made crooked? Enjoy
prosperity while you can, but when hard
times strike, realize that both come from God.
Remember that nothing is certain in this life. Ecc7:12-14.
So live life to the fullest according to His Word, and His
will! Jesus guides us in how to behave through His disciples. Look into the
back stories of the Characters in the Bible and you will find they went through
a lot of hard stuff! Look into Job and see endurance of horrible stuff even
though he had done nothing to deserve it, many of the others had things happened
that they would not have considered deserving for the good lives they lived.
God knows what is right, and what is to be done, we can just
focus on the good of the Word and see the things that came from one person’s suffering.
Trust God, love God, obey God. That sums it up!
Don’t be selfish and consider our sufferance to be worse
than Christ, who suffered on the cross for us. Go read he rest of the chapters
mentioned here, you will not regret it!
Be blessed in His love,
