To Share- Yes you can! In His Word 5-28-2024
The Bible is full of it!
Full of scriptures telling us to share the Gospel and tell others to find
Jesus. We read it again and again. We
need God, and we need to tell others that they too need God. We have salvation
that came from Jesus. We have a life that is changed. We are Children of God.
We need to share that!
But what if you can’t?
What if you’re bound to bed, or in a wheelchair, or worse yet cannot verbally speak?
What if you don’t have the money to join in the mission trips?
What if you can’t do
it?
Today I want you to know that you can!
First-If you have a
brain that can think you can pray. If you can read or hear this, you can learn
that you can pray! God knows your heart, He hears yoru prayers even if you have
no voice. Did you know that? It is true!
The Holy Spirit can speak through you, even if you have no
voice! Is that amazing or what?
Even a child is known by his actions!
Proverbs 20:11 reads ‘Even a child is known by his doings,
whether his work be pure and whether it be right.” Kjv.
Second- Did you know that how you live your life can show
Jesus to people around you? If your heart is pure before God you will shine.
When you shine with the Holy Spirit it really does ‘make them wonder what you’ve
got” as the old song says.” I noticed people in my life that knew Jesus before
I knew Him myself. The words they used, even a small prayer my Aunt Lillian
prayed on the way to my Aunt Ruby’s funeral site showed me there was a God! She
prayed for no rain, in the Seattle area, and it stopped over our burial site!
Just over us the sun shone down! That was how I knew God exited that day!
We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we have heard of your faith in Christ
Jesus your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of
what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever
since you first heard the truth of the Good News. This same Good News that came to you is going
out all over th world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives just as
it changed your loves from the day you first heard and understood the truth
about God’s wonderful grace.
You learned about this from Epaphras, our beloved coworker.
He is Christ’s faithful servant, and he is helping us on your behalf. He has told us about the love
for others that the Holy Spirit has given you. So, we have not stopped praying
for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge
of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way
you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every
kind of good fruit. All the while you will grow as you learn to now God better
and better.
We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious
power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. .. He has
enabled in the inheritance that belongs to his people who live in the light.
For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the
Kingdom of His dear Son who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Colossians 1:3-12
How we live our lives, how we speak, or how we pray can
change the lives of the people in the world around us. So instead of thinking “I
can’t do anything to help the lost” think again!
God has given you the hope and assurance to know God
Himself, and through His promises we know that He will not leave us there in the
darkness of the unknown, He will teach us and lead us in the path He has put before
us if its by footwork or brain work He can bring you to a place to reach
others.
It is the same with my word. I send it out and it always
produces fruit. It will accomplish all that I want it to, and it will prosper
everywhere I send it. Isaiah 55:11
Read Isaiah 55. It has so much instruction in what to do in
order to pray! I went over there to find
the scripture verse 11 but read the rest of the chapter! You will live in joy
and peace!
If you have not read it yet, on my Facebook page I have been
posting chapter studies called “the Rest of the Chapter” in which I encourage people
to read the rest of the chapter not just the insta verse that is on your daily
reads. Even though I have written several books for daily reads not all of them
are one verse styles. Also, they are meant to be starting points in a daily
read. God did not mean for us to read one verse a day but to give us an appetite
for the Word of God we start out that way. If nothing else, read that first
verse. Then read the rest of the chapter!
You can do it!
YES YOU CAN!
They say to start a habit you just need to do something three
times in a row. So why not start today?
Isaiah 55 is only a 13 verse chapter! You can do it!
Trust God to direct your path as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6
you will walk through the Word if you just start out doing it. The same thing
goes with prayer.
Third- Speak to God daily. Aloud or in your mind, acknowledge
His existence an thank Him for today! I have a book about that! Check it out on
the side bar of my blog!
Get started today! You can do it!
Yes. You can!
In Jesus’ name, and in His Love,
