31 Days of Prayer in His Word
As we continue our month of prayer let’s take a moment to remember
how Jesus taught the disciples to pray when they admitted that they did not
know how.
Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his
disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught
his disciples.”
Jesus said, “This is how you should pray: “Father,
may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. Give us each day the
food we need…” Luke 11:1-3
You see, sometimes we need to be reminded that we do not know
everything, in fact praying is something we learn as we go. Today when we pray
let us pray thanking God for provisions and asking for His will to be done.
Heavenly Father, thank you for all you have done for us, help us to keep
your Name Holy in our thoughts and our words that everyone around us will know
that You are our God. Let your kingdom come into our lives, in Jesus’s name,
amen.
