31 days of prayer in His Word 1-1-2024
As we start the new calendar year let’s remember the best beginning
is usually one that is covered in prayer. For the next 31 days we will pray each
day following through out the scriptures that talk abut prayer. Don’t get
worried it’s not a challenge you cannot complete, it is actually quite easy to
begin each day with a simple scripture and a prayer starter. Go ahead and pray as
you wish. For my part I will begin with a suggested topical prayer after the scripture
reference, and hopefully together we will build a strong prayer habit.
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all
circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Thessalonians 5:16-18
Heavenly Father, thank you for starting this month with joy in our
hearts after celebrating the birth of Jesus and a new beginning. Help us to
focus our lives this month keeping up with a daily prayer. Thank you for
everything we will walk through this year, and all that we have in the past.
Show us your will each day as we walk in your love and in your direction, in
Jesus’ name, amen.
