In His Word 1-13-2020
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the
air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man
in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created
he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be
fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living
thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26-28

In a sermon a Pastor said , “Imagine that each day you had
door dash to your front door for free! The Israelites’ had the
first door dash! When God dropped quail by the thousands not just a few! there
was one for every household and just like the mana it was for a day not to be
reused etc.
The point being God gives us direction in His Word, he sometimes
gives us direction through a preacher or a teacher of the Word, and sometimes He
speaks to our hearts and minds about how to live a life pleasing to Him that
often benefits us more than we can imagine.

There is always someone who wants to study that book, or that
topic, or that whatever,
He who has prepared us for this very
thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So
we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the
body we are away from the Lord— for we walk by
faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:5-7
So what ever it is that you are
walking through today, look to God for your daily Manna, quail or even a Word
from the Word of God. He has something there specific to your moment in time!
Heavenly Father, help us to see Your
message to us in the Word for today. For this time frame in which we live has words
from the Word of God, we have our Bibles translated so much that we just need
you to show us the Word to understand it. Guide our day, and our reading in
Jesus’ name, amen.
