Dailies~ In His Word 11/4/19

Dailies ~in His Word

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…. so let's be safe and put on the armor of God.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:11-13
If God is for us… nothing can stand against us! We know that our God is more powerful than any other being so why do we doubt How come we often doubt He will come through for us? Is it doubt in God or doubt in ourselves to understand and do what He shows us?
This can be a daunting task, this trusting God with our whole heart, and then not trying to understand in our own way of understanding but just trusting and knowing that God is in control.
As I shared a bit of my testimony this weekend, I realized that God has done a lot for me, I have been blessed with complete lifesaving feats at least three times involving vehicles, and once or twice in my life during surgeries.  Who knows how many other times, but it does not matter what really matters is that God saved me?  In my personal life journey, I have been through a few trials no one even knew about. On a smaller scale I have been without food, no money for the week and had God bring a bag of ‘extra groceries’ to my doorstep.
I have been without heat in the middle of the winter and God sent someone with a wood stove that I could burn anything in to stay warm! Those are small things in comparison to some of the things God has done that I have not always realized it was God working for me until I grew to have ‘eyes to see’ what He has done for me.  Sometimes life is like that; we do not realize what all God is doing in times of hardship, sorrow, or ill health. Often it is because we are suffering through it doing what we can to keep going forward but our God has a purpose in all that He brings us through in our lives.
We do not usually see what God is doing as we go through it, but wouldn’t it be nice I we could say we did?  Wouldn’t it be nice if we were so open to the concept of being close to God that we never doubted, never wondered, just knew via the Holy Spirit that God was in each day?

I think we can achieve this!  I think, that we can live our lives ‘in the Spirit’ and ‘walk in the Spirit’. Do we need to do a few things to maintain that presence of God in our lives? Not really because the presence of God is with us continually, remember that He will never leave us nor forsake us? So if there is anything we need to do it is to realize that truth, and to talk to Him and read His words in our Bibles. As we do this we will gain strength in our spirit man, and as that happens we will be able to discern or understand more of what we are walking through in this life, but sooner. The more we know the more we will know that we do not know, but that does not mean we should stop learning! That does not mean we should not look to God to show us in His word what His spirit says for us to apply to our lives today. We need to work to gain strength and direction by training ourselves up to seek God for it!
When you think about it, the work is just in accepting the truth as it is; in His Word.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the truth in Your Word, help us to glean from it daily and as often as we can to grow stronger both in our faith in You to keep your promises to us personal as well as in Your word, help us to study to show ourselves approved by You, that we can rightly divide the word in Truth for Your Glory  , in Jesus’ name, amen.

Joy comes in the morning…
His anger lasts for the night…
For with God all things are possible…
Jesus was tempted by the devil… then big things happened ,
Jesus prayed in Gethsemane… then He saved us all
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:22-24
