Sometimes we do not know
where to go; everything seems to be an uphill battle. Work piles up, laundry piles
up, the grocery list grows longer, and the bills get bigger. The only thing
that seems to get small is our bank account!
So, what do you do when life
dumps all of this ‘stuff’ on your desk? How can you find peace and reassurance in
times of stress and trouble?
O Lord, I have come to you for protection: don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me, and set me free. Psalm 71:1-2

When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39
He will call the storm in
your life; He will calm the rough waves that come splashing up at you. Just put
your trust in Him to show you what to do and were to go.
Peace, be still!
Heavenly Father, help us to
be still and trust You today to calm our hearts and minds and help us to focus
on the tasks at hand while remaining in Your peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
