~ In His Word

Having been
declared righteous, then, by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord
Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by the faith into this grace in which we have stood, and we boast on the hope of the glory o God. And
not only [so], but we also boast in the tribulations, knowing that the
tribulation doth work endurance; and the endurance,
experience; and the experience, hope; and the hope doth
not make ashamed, because the love of God hath been poured forth in our hearts
through the Holy Spirit that hath been given to us. Romans 5:1-5
Its kind of strange to think of but when we go through troubles
and tough times it gives us a chance to boast of Christ in us. Think about it
for a second or two… we ‘go through’ those things and come out victorious on the
other side. We experience the fears, the doubts the problems that arise because
of whatever happens in our lives daily. We learn to hope in God to help us in
them. This is all because we have the faith that causes us to trust God daily with
our lives.
It is not as if we are righteous instantly of our own accord, but because
Christ suffered even more for our sake, we can find hope and strength that we
will continue to abide in Him as we keep pushing forward through the strength and
love of Jesus Christ towards us. Only through faith can we figure out that God
is with us even in the horribly rotten lonely and painful times, that He is
there to pull us through! For If God is with us no thing can stand against us!
Nothing! Not a painful shoulder, not a sprained knee, not a bout with feelings
of emptiness or fear. God is with us and He will bring us through if we just
have faith, and trust Him to do so. Just as He promised He will never leave you
nor forsake you!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being with us. Help us to have
the faith of a mustard seed, the strength of a mighty eagle soaring in the sky
and the hope of a sinner who longs for heaven. Help us to trust You to bring us
through! In Jesus’ name, amen.
