Dailies In His Word
July 21 2019
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of
you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work
of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in
the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your
election by God.
For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but
also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you
know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
1Thessalonians 1:2-5
This is how we should greet everyone when we write to them or
even just speak. We should not be plain and casual, we should be so grateful
that they are in our lives and speak of the good things they do. If this were
the fact there would be a lot more people who have better self esteem but more
than that; there would be a lot more people feeling loved.
Paul was so encouraging to this group of people that it makes
us feel good even reading a note to someone else.
I have an idea for today, look around you and find someone to
encourage that they are doing a great job. Whether it is at your church our
while you are off at an outing look or the servant heart out there working hard
and not feeling noticed. Lift them up to the Lord and lift up their smiles by
sharing what good things you see in them.
Encourage them that God sees them and all they do and that
you do too!
Thank them for their service to His people and yourself! We could carry that further and bless them
somehow by helping them or whatever but sometimes a good word of thank you will
brighten someone’s day.
Keep up the good work my friends! Be blessed in all you do
today! May you feel God’s love surround you and overflowing around you, in
Jesus’ name.
Heavenly Father help us to support those who help others
with simple thank you and keep going Lord, that You see and You care, help us
to admonish them in Jesus’ name, amen.
