Dailies- In His
Word
July 20, 2019
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He
is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, ad the unrighteous his thoughts. Let
him return to the Lord and He will have mercy on him; Isaiah 55:6-7
The Lord God created us so it is interesting that the Word
of God talks about seeking Him while He may be found. I believe it is referring
to the moment in your life when God has opened a door to see the reality of
Christ as a need in our lives. I mean, He actually shares with us the need to
seek Him here as if it is a now or never thing. The truth is He is there as
Jesus says “I stand at the door and knock, if anyone will open to me I will sup
with Him…” This infers we will be able to open a spiritual door and allow
Christ to be a part of our life.
The daily opening of that door is not a need, because once
the door is open He will leave us nor forsake us… think on that, we seek Him,
find Him and He remains or abides with us!
Think on the fact that He is with us wherever we go and whatever
we do… watch your mouth! What’s in the heart comes out of it! Do you speak Christ like words or worldly?
Hide the Word in your heart and you will have the right
things there!
Heavenly Father help us to flood our hearts and minds with
Your word that when we speak it will be good things coming out, in Jesus’ name,
amen.
