~In His Word

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you. But to
do justly, to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
Do you think a lot about what God wants you to do? Have you ever asked
Him; “What do you want from me?” He tells us what He wants in Micah quite
plainly. To do the right thing, to love and be kind, and to enjoy being kind
and loving.
The most important portion of this verse is to walk humbly with our God.
That means we don’t walk expecting Him to do our beck and call but to trust
that He will do what He sees best.
It means we give Him the honor when good stuff happens, and thank Him
for bringing us through tough times, or healing us. To remember who He is and
what He has done for us.
Sure He gives us the power of the Holy Spirit to pray and have faith for
healing people but it is not us, but He who does the healing.
We can pray for financial breakthrough but we need to know it is God who
provides it all.
We have to realize when we go through things in life, maybe we even
carry scars, remember that it is not about us, but for His glory that we have
come out of it shining in the Light of His glory!
Let’s try to be humble, loving and kind as Jesus was, and is.
Heavenly Father, help us to do justly, to walk in love, kindness and
humbleness before you, In Jesus’ name, amen.
