His Word July 8,

Do you have it? If you are having a hard time accepting things that God
is saying it could be that you have some unbelief in your heart or mind. Read
on and get more of the Word to encourage you! Seek Him first!
People
who do not have God’s Spirit do not accept the things that come from his
Spirit. They think these things are foolish. They cannot understand them,
because they can only be understood with the Spirit’s help. We who have the Spirit are
able to make judgments about all these things. But anyone without the Spirit is
not able to make proper judgments about us.
As
the Scriptures say,
“Who can know what is on the
Lord’s mind?
Who is able to give him advice?”
Who is able to give him advice?”
But we have been given Christ’s
way of thinking.1 Corinthians 2:12-16
If you think you do not know what God wants you to do, you
have to ask yourself if you or lying to yourself or you do you not really
accept that He is speaking to you. In His Word you can find many things that
will either seem old and boring or will be full of life and excitement but it
all comes from what the Spirit is telling us!
So what is He telling you today?
It is sometimes not easy to accept that God wants one thing
and we can’t see ourselves doing that. Often He has a plan that seems way too
difficult for us to achieve and we really do not always see the work He is
doing on our behalf in the back ground to know that He has already set it up.
We need to remember that He is with us, and He is in it to
win it! He wants us to ‘win souls’ and bring people to the peaceful love of
Jesus Christ! He wants to save our friends, our heart and soul to be the guide
as we follow His. So when He gives us a task, we can know He will be there all
the way through!
We have been given Christ’ way of thinking; with the Holy
Spirit we have clarity of mind for God stuff!
Let’s work to pay attention to what God is telling us today,
and remember what He told us in the past, write it all down!
For it is for an appointed time! He has told us!
The book of Micah is a
short book and I highly recommend reading it through because God gives us good stuff
in it! It may seem like a reprimand for part of it but if you look into the
words you will see the encouragement to seek God to follow Him and to do His
will as you have been told!
But I have all, and abound: I am
filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things you sent, an odor of
sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And may my God supply all your want, (needs) according
to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:18-19
He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth
the Lord require of
thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8
Heavenly Father, help us to walk before you with humbleness
and love. Help us to show these things to others and to listen to Your voice in
all we do, in Jesus’name, Amen
