Dailies~ In His Word
July 31, 2019
What can I do or say that will do anything worth while? Is there a reason for my life? What is the purpose? Where can I go to find this out?
In His Word!
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.  By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:7-12
These scriptures go on to say; live on in my love or there is not greater joy than to lay down ones life for His friends, and so we need to live on in His love. To live on in His love means to love one another, and to bear His fruit, to do what Jesus did and even more!
We just got done reading in John 14 greater things than He did we will do if we abide with Him. It is time to walk in His direction people! God is calling us out to love one another and to heal the broken hearted, to calm the storms and to be full of His joy unspeakable, because there are no words to explain it, and to ask what we desire knowing, trusting, believing that God will do it!
As I sit with sore muscles from a week of kid worship at Vacation Bible School where I danced like David dance and moved to the motions of the Seas, it was exciting! I did not think I could do it but the little children needed an example and so I jumped, I turned around, I kicked up my feet even!  All for the glory of God to be revealed to these little children. They truly worshiped and got excited about knowing more about Jesus. Oh I did not do it without thinking, I even wondered what I was thinking I was doing but I knew it was drawing them closer. That is what it is all about.
Heavenly Father, Draw us nearer by Your Spirit and fill us up with your power, love, strength, joy, and help us to send it out, to share it and to be a light shining in the darkened world. In Jesus name, amen.
