~ in His Word

Did you ever think about the fact that the most important
spot on any target is the smallest one?
Everyone
wants to be the biggest and better but what about the smallest but full of more
importance that most people cannot achieve?
Sometimes
the smallest thing can be the biggest thing.
Take
a moment to share the Gospel with the store clerk, I don’t mean tell them all
the scriptural reason that they need Jesus but tell them that Jesus loves them
today! Share a good though, a happy encouraging word, the seed is planted. Just
like the mustard seed if you plant a seed in faith it will grow to be a huge
plant, or salvation for those you speak with.
If you look very closely you can find hope! |
Then
Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of
God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge
yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. For so the Lord has commanded
us:
‘I have set you as a light to the
Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and
glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to
eternal life believed. Acts 13:46-48
Paul and Barnabas wandered many trails to tell people of the
salvation that they too could receive and to be selective, they did not walk to
all the places themselves but they sent letters as well!
Others sent money to pay for their journeys. If you can’t
hoof it to the place then share the encouragement and funds for others to go to
the ends of the earth to preach the Gospel in your stead.
In the mean time, save your neighbors! Or rather bring them to the saving knowledge
and let Jesus save them. Our job is to
speak, to be the dart that leads them to the Lord Jesus and salvation; the bulls-eye!
Let’s do that! Let’s share with someone today that Jesus
loves them, that He is Lord, and that He died to save them! They say that one
word can change a life, I say yes it can, the word love. God is Love! He can
change a life today.
On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and
shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may
come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the
Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When
he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to
everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because
Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.) John 7:37-39
Heavenly Father, Thank you that Your saving grace applies to
all who believe. Lord help us to encourage
others to seek You and to know You and their savior too. In Jesus name, amen.
