Dailies ~in His Word
May 24, 2019

Don’t do it, get rid of it, quit it, and then do good! Put it aside, get the stuff off of you and just let it go!  Ephesians 4 has a lot of wisdom and love in it but mostly it talks about us changing!  Because we have put on Christ, via the Holy Spirit with us we have to change.
We cannot be the old us who we, for some reason, thought was cool because we were living in sin, living in the world and had a worldly mind set. We did not get it, but now that we do; we must put away lying, anger must be tamed and truth is what we need to speak.

Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.  “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:25-32
You could think about it this way, you just bought a new sports car and you go and drive it through the ditch full of mud and sticks and rocks and leave it that way. That’s what is like when you get clean with Christ. All of us are dirty to star out, we have mud all over us and God cleans us up polishes our chrome and allows us to shine in the Son-shine!
Why would w even think of getting dirty again God has given us freedom to decide to be clean always!
Let’s decide to stay out of the mud and work to keep shining by digging in the Word and walking the way He says to walk. As Jesus did I mean that’s what we chose to do when we chose to make Him our Lord.

Heavenly Father, help us to follow Your guidance and stay in Your cleansing Word, Jesus’ name, amen .
