Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all
that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:23
Look out! There is trouble brewing I the world, people are
jerks, cars cut you off, food gets rotten, and rocks fall in your way! It is inevitable
that we will trip from time to time. The thing we need to be sure of is that we
do not fall.
If we are focused on God when these things come hurdling at
us in life we will be okay.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are
above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set
your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ
in God. When Christ who
is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4
Stuff happens, people annoy you but that does not mean you have to get
caught up in it does it? Just do not
respond and all will be well. If we respond in kindness ;9 out of 10 times
things will turn out better. I am sure there are exceptions but if we are full
of the Spirit then no harm can come to us, not even verbal assaults!
Therefore, as the elect
of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility,
meekness, longsuffering; bearing with
one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against
another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must
do. But above all these
things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the
peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in
one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:1-17
Be full of forgiveness and love one another and things will
turn out okay. Just remember t pray for those who spitefully harm us or have
evil plans against us and trust Go to bring it to pass!
Heavenly Father, we thank you that we can trust You to take care
of the problems in life I trust you to help me keep my heart and mi don You, in
Jesus name, amen.
