What is your purpose? Pray Everyday 1-23-2026

What's your purpose? What is your mission?

Today as I was sitting in a session at a conference I had the thought, that my life is my mission. Just as this verse below in Mark, the words of Jesus tell us to go to all the world and tell everyone the Truth about our Savior The Good News, or the Gospel story, how ever you want to say it is a truth to share.

How God has brought you through a tough time, or helped you pass a test whether actual or proverbial in method, is a testimony you can share to give people perspective in how Christ works with us, or for us in giving us examples to share..

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Mark 16:15

That is our purpose. I could go on and on on this subject but this is the plain and simple order from God to go and tell somebody!

Until everyone has heard it, and believe it or not there are many out there who have not had the oportunity to really know Jesus themselves. With TV and Media you think everyone has the knowledge but just because someone has watched fake things does not mean they believe them. When we share the Truth in word or deed we can push through the fake things they have heard on TV and present Christ to them personally. When we do that it is doing what Jesus told us to do.

The first thing we can do though, is pray. Let's pray for God to help us see who needs to know Him, and show us a way to help them 'find Jesus'.

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your Word today, for the long drawn out lessons and the short but sweet ones like today's we thank you. We praise your name for being the one who saved us from all of the sin out there. Help us to bring the Gospel to the lost, wherever they are, that we may obey your direction to do so. Give us the Words to speak, in Jesus' name, amen
