Let's do this! Pray! in His Word! 1-14-2026

Let's do this! Pray!

Paul tells us to be ready, instantly ready to preach and to teach right? To be prepared no matter what! So, the idea is that we need to be ready to respond, to bring a Bible with us and be ready to use it! The thing is its not always easy to speak up, but what we can do, when it is not appropriate to share, is pray!

Did you see a person begging at the side of the road, but you are two lanes over? Pray for them, because that effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person does a lot!  James 5:16

I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom:  Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.  They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. 2Timothy 4:1-5

Sometimes you can in prayer for a stranger walking down the street! Are they limping, pray for healing and an upright heart. If they look homeless pray for them to be housed and healthy!

There is no end to the needs we can see if we are looking for someone to pray for.

Be prepared to pray for the employee at the ash register who is wearing a brace! Tell them your praying for them or if you are feeling bold, ask them to pray right there right then aloud!

Just be prepared by praying, reading and repeating!

Heavenly Father, thank you for the avenue of prayer to help us reach out to those we may never speak to today, give us the direction and guidance in what to pray and who to pray for as we remain forever ready to pray...in Jesus' name..
