Just Go! In His Word 3-3-2025

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak;   night after night they make him known .They speak without a sound or word;    their voice is never heard  Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,  and their words to all the world. Psalm 19:1-4

If the heavens already declare His glory, and proclaim the glory of God as stated above in the NLT version, with God’s  glory around us; why do we need to go to tell it on the mountain?

Why do people not see what He created and accept that He is God? I mean that was how it was in the beginning, they did not doubt that God was the Creator, they loved Him, He loved them and yet…they sinned in omission of their wrongdoing.

Later on, people were restored to a certain extent when Moses brought them the way to get clean with God’s Commandments. There are more than ten by the way, but the main focus of the laws is the Ten.  So, why did the people not obey God? If everyone had done what God gave them there would be no need but then… Jesus came. He literally ‘walked with them and talked with them’ once again. Still the people went about doing ‘what they thought was right for them’. Why? Why do people continue to do the wrong thing, sinning, and disregarding the goodness that God gives us?

Some people actually got it, so Jesus gave them directives again!

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him—but some of them doubted.  Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all (the) nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28”16-20

Okay, so now we are called to this direction! We are the called! We who know the truth are obligated to share it with someone else, and you know something? It’s not because we feel pressured most of the time, it is because we cannot keep quiet about how good Jesus is!  What a mighty God we serve!

Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it. Colossians 1 23-24

Because of the reconciliation of Christ to us we have righteousness with God. We again are able to walk with Him and talk with Him in our daily walks. We can also share the Gospel story with those who need to believe still.

Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead. And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe it will be condemned. Mark16:14-16

Don't let them be numbered among the condemned on your watch! If you know someone or meet someone who needs the Lord say something!

We are told to go to all the world and preach it, teach it, baptize them, and help the people to study to show themselves approved. Well, I added in the last part from another portion of scripture but as we study to share, we teach others to study to share then they can go on and share and teach, and etc.  So now that we know, we have to show!

Where o we go? There are people everywhere, you may not be able to go on a technical ‘mission trip’ but you can make your neighborhood a mission. You may not be able to take a plane train or boat to Chile and teach people there, but you can share the things God has done with you right here at your grocery store. God’s directive is to share and to go everywhere He sends us.

God may send you in small places like your workspace. Then from there it may change and someday you may speak up and teach at your local church, or school, or gathering. One day you may find yourself being called to take a huge shift in your life and teach complete strangers on a ship crossing the ocean! Yes that tis a thing! There are a lot of people who do not know Jesus on ships! It’s really a captive audience! The point is wherever God sends you is where He wants you to tell people what He has done, give Him the glory for the good things in your life and the glory for helping you through the not so good.

Don’t worry about what you would say…Mark 13:11 says we just need to say what God tells us to say at that time because its not about us but a bout the Holy Spirit that is in us speaking through us! He is the same Spirit that opened our eyes and ears to see and hear what God has for us today.

Matthew 6 25-234 tells us not to worry about what we need because God will provide it. Just as He has provided new life for us He will provide the things for you to get to the people you are personally called to speak to. Just do it! Just go!

It may not be easy, but God will use us in our lives today as we put  on the boldness to speak what God has done.
