31 Days of Prayer ~ in His Word 1-6-20
When we make our requests known to God through prayer we need to remember
to be thankful. Even if we do not get the thing we pray for precisely as we choose, we can know
that He will give us peace for the journey, the trial, or the obstacle that we
must overcome.
Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember,
the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about
everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you
will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His
peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians
4:5-7
Heavenly Father, we lift up our praise and thanks to you. We thank you
for everything you have done in our lives and for all that you will do today.
Help us to listen and accept your peace regardless, in Jesus’ name
