31 Days of Prayer ~ in His Word 1-21-2024
Have you ever been so overwhelmed with need
that you did not know how to pray? Yet, you found the words, or the emotions seemed
to spill out of you, and you cried out in incomprehensible words that seemed to
answer your heart’s cry. That is when the Holy Spirit, or the “Comforter” Jesus
mentions helps us to pray when we are weak in emotions and cannot speak.
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our
weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the
Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
Romans 8:26
We are so blessed to have a God that helps
us in our sorrow and in our joy by sending the Helper to give us the words and
understanding. Today let’s pray then sit and just praise Him or a while.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your
Holy Spirit that you have given us, help us to know what to pray in our circumstances,
or for our loved one’s situations and help us to believe that You know our
heart’s cry, In Jesus’ name….
