31 Days of Prayer ~ In His Word 1-18-2024
Sometimes direction in the Word can seem daunting, or
even impossible! Today’s verses are some of these, but do you know that we can
do them? God would not have it in His Word if it were not so!
Always be joyful.
Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for
this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
These are things to strive for, instead of being sad, or mad, or frustrated we can choose joy! Of course joy is not like happiness, it is
better. Joy is like peace, its inside your heart just waiting to be remembered.
Joy is beyond the happy feeling, it has peace, love, and calm, sometimes even a little bit of encouragement!
Pray without stopping, well that one is like off and on
throughout the day, sure, but also it means not to one day decide not to pray
anymore. Not to fall out of the habit of prayer and to just remember that you
belong to Christ Jesus! He will help us through all these issues when we put
our trust in Him.
Heavenly father, thank you for giving us challenges in
the Word today, and helping us find a way to do them, in Jesus’ name, amen
