Day 6~ Advent Countdown-In His Word 12-6-2023
My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in
glory. Philippians 4:19
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians
4:13
With God all things are possible if we believe. Matthew 9:26,
Mark 9:23, 10:27, 14:36
All of these sayings are scriptural and all of them are said
over and over by people trying to encourage one another. Some people would say
they are ‘pat answers’ or ‘overused’ or maybe even ‘easy answer without feeling.’
I want to tell you one more today.
“My word will not come back void.” Isaiah 55:11
When we repeat God’s Word even if we do not know that’s what
we are doing He will bring it to mean what He means for it to mean. Its not
something we can turn off. God is God, and He is in control of His Word.
So, if you don’t know what to say, seek God, and look in the
Word! When you do you will find that it will reach the depts of someone who
hears it, even if they do not admit it at first. I know for certain because my
best friend in grade school mentioned to me part of the Bible about being Baptized.
Though she was shocked when I did not know what that even meant, and she gasped
when she said, “You mean you’re not baptized?” she spoke soundly to my heart
and mind that day. For many years I heard her voice shout out to me about this
very thing. One day God lead me to the place and time to be baptized and I
began searching the internet to be able to call her. I found her and shared that she was instrumental in my testimony
because of her boldness.
Why am I telling you this? Tell them anyway! Even if they
throw you out with the bathwater for saying it, speak the Word, be ready and
instant in season and out to share His Word with the people you meet at any
given moment in time. It will change their
