Day 24 Advent Countdown~ In His Word 12-24-2023
Have you ever had such a complete answer to prayer that you
could die and go to heaven today and feel like you had a full life?
I feel that way sometimes!
A few years back I realized I was living my dream life. Oh sure I have ‘those
days’ when I think what was I thinking about this or that but over all I have a
happy hubby, the grown kids and all that, live in a home that I own. God has blessed me! I have grown!
Sometimes when in prayer and seeing the answers to all that I
ask I feel unworthy, but at the same time so entirely blessed that God takes
time to answer my prayers! Simeon had similar feelings when he saw Jesus!
Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised
God, saying, “Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised. I have seen your
salvation, which you have prepared for
all people. He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!”
Luke 2:28-32
Imagine standing there knowing that the messiah was real as
you had read, heard and known for your whole life. That is how it feels when
you realized that Jesus is real and that He will never leave us nor forsake
