Count Down Day 2 Praising Him for the little and the Big!
Today I am so excited! My cute little town is set up for the first time in years! I am not going overboard this year. I am choosing my decorations from years past that have meaning to me. Simple and sweet!
Today I also want to thank God for making the details He
chose to make when creating everything. I found it difficult creating a little town,
so my son has stepped in and done most of the work designing, God decided to
send His son to us to help us out too!
When I think of how much God has done and does for us it
gives me reason to rejoice!
Are you having a hard time getting things done, why not call
upon the Lord and ask Him what s important. I am trying to put my life on purpose mode and try to be more like
Jesus this month. Even our celebration of His life is in His plan and when we
focus on Him it will be easy to find a way to be happy in what we are doing. Each
year we have a caroling night to sing songs mostly about Jesus, it is our way
of sharing with our neighbors and spreading joy to the world.
God made all of that possible because He sent His Joy to the
World to bring us salvation. In the scriptures below I hope you will find a
reason to rejoice and praise the Lord today!
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we
are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose
us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance
to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So, we praise God
for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He
is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood
of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with
all wisdom and understanding.
God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding
Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the
right time he will bring everything together under the authority of
Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united
with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in
advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. Ephesians
1:3-11
We can really enjoy each day we walk in when we focus on God
and trust in His Word and…
