Advent with me- In His Word 12-7-21
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:1-5
I would say to you that Christmas in a nutshell was just read. He sent His son our Lord Jesus to be the Christ who gave us access by faith to His Grace. We can rejoice in the Hope of the Glory of God. No matter what kind of stress we live through this season He is still the same God waiting for us to kneel before Him and give Him glory for the good things He has done. There is always something good. We may not see it at first, but God is at work in everything. If we keep our eyes on Him we can then accept the good and the bad as it comes because we can know that He will take care of whatever it is. Our God will supply all our needs according to His riches so we do not need to go above and beyond in our holiday shopping and buy our gifts but instead we can give them the Gift of God, Jesus. How? By sharing what God has done in our lives every day. How He has brought us through the last two years would be a good start~
