In His Word 10-7-19

Dailies ~ In His Word
October 2019

Sometimes life can get so stressful that we do not know how to handle it anymore. We may want to run away or hide out in our rooms under the covers so life will just get over itself and move on.
What do you do when it gets out of hand? What do you do if the stressful situations are piling up in your life?
Stop, drop, and pray! What do you pray? Pray for peace over your household, over your situations and over your life. That all things will indeed work together or the good of the Gospel is a truth and we need to remind ourselves of this!  When we pray for these things we can follow up with a great deal of praise and worship music and statements to God. These will bring peace upon us; it may not solve the reason behind the stress though it can give us space to think of an answer with a clear mind.
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. Always be joyful.  Never stop praying.Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:14-16

Thank God and continue walking in His presence.
Trust Him to take care of it!
Thank Him for doing so!
Have peace!

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,  making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. Romans 1:8-10

When we remember to pray we can stay calm and let God take care of the situation, when we forget to we can get all caught up in the cares of the world. We need to work at focusing on God and that which is right, not be caught up in the thorns and tares!  Let’s make it a pack to focus on God, to focus on how He can take care of the details! Our job is to lift it up to Him, and then let Him be in the details!
Heavenly Father, we lift up everything that brings stress upon us today, we ask that You would take it from our hands and not allow us to pull it back. Help us to allow You to take care of it, and of us in Jesus’ name, amen
