Dailies ~
in His Word

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has
become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children,
too. We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his
commandments. Loving God means keeping his
commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we
achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle
against the world? Only those who
believe that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:1-5
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God
have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in
his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God
lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we
will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence
because we live like Jesus here in this world. 1 John 4:15-17
Only when we walk in His love will we be
able to love one another as He loves us. Only when we accept that He is love
and His Holy Spirit dwells within us will we be able to put our trust in His
love to love us back. As we live in His presence daily, considering He is spiritually
in us and with us and will never forsake us nor leave us we have no choice but
to grow more like Him. He alone is perfect in every way but we will become like
Him eventually.
To show that we love Him, and are
followers of Jesus we keep the commandments of God. That means we love one
another as Christ so loved us. In this
is the fullness of walking in His love; that we love one another as He loved
us; living, breathing, thinking, and naturally doing the right thing. This can
only come if we spend time living in His Word. We must spend time getting to
know the God we love! We must spend time reading His Word and understand what
He wants for us, and from us; in His Word!
Today we can read our Bible an get to know
our God freely, it may not always be so. Take advantage and read it while you
can.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us
your Love, and Your Word, help us to understand Your Word and know what it is
to truly love you and be loved by you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
