Dailies~ In His Word

As I sat with tear
stained cheeks, the time of the year, the pile of things on my list of ‘to dos’
piled up in my mind. The summer days were quickly drawing to a close and all I could
think of was how much I did not get to do, how much we had not accomplished.
One more tear pushed its way out of the nearly empty tear duct. How would I get
it al done?
A ping sounded and
I glanced at my phone…it was my scripture app. Picking it up to see the
following scripture of the day I began to sing out praises and thanks to my
God. A new kind of tears flooded my face, tears of joy!
“Thank you God for
Your Word that comes to us just when we need it. You wanted me to now that you
loved me, love us… You care about each and every tear, each and every pain.”
4 And God will wipe
away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor
sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have
passed away.” Revelations 21:4
The scripture read. Reading a little further
I decided this was definitely the thing to write for today’s daily!
He will wipe every tear from our eyes, there
will be no more pain, no more suffering; when the time comes for Him to remove
it all.
Then He who
sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said]to
me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Revelation 21:4-5
Thank you Lord God,
for all that You do for us and all that You have done for us all in so many
ways. Thank you for reminding us that You have life in control, we just have to
trust you and do what we are told, follow where You lead, in Jesus’ name, amen.
