You are chosen. God has chosen you to share your story of
faith with others.
In days past they had to write letters penned by scribes
most of the time, but occasionally Paul even wrote his own. Paul knew who he
was in Christ, He knew that God had sent him to tell others that He also wished
to send them; if they only believed! A lot of people claim they will come to
God, and by that they mean make Him their Lord, and start going to church; when
they clean up their act. My God took me into His family when I was far from
together, or clean. He cleaned up my act for me! He did it in just the right
time for His purposes to be exacted. The knowledge that He chose the perfect
time in my life patiently waiting for me to listen, gives me confidence that
God has a plan for my life.
This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of
Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to
teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal
life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began. And now at just the
right time he has revealed this message, which we announce to everyone. It is
by the command of God our Savior that I have been entrusted with this work for
him.
Titus 1:1-3
One purpose God has for each of us is to share the Gospel
story with someone. Maybe it’s a stranger, maybe it’s a relative or friend but
you and I need to tell someone about Him so they to can find that eternal
confidence in Jesus Christ.
Even if we think we cannot speak about Him, He will open our
mouths to speak when we least expect it if we are willing to allow the Holy Spirit
to work through us. Pray and ask Him to show you who needs to hear your story
of how Jesus saved you and how He wants to know them too.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us the boldness to
speak to others about You, help us to share our story of Faith with those we
come in contact with when the timing is right! In Jesus name, amen.
