Dailies In His Word

Dailies ~in His Love
April 2019
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith.  Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:3-6
This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.  For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 1 John 5:6-8
Only when we walk in His love we will be able to love one another as He loves us! Because He loves us He gave up His Son for us, died on the cross for us and gave us the Holy Spirit to stay with us and guide us.
So how do we love others? When we abide in His love, that means we are living, breathing, thinking, waking, taking naturally as He would because we are living In His love, literally and spiritually.
That is because we cannot love without knowing God, because God is love. So to know love is to know God, and to know God is to know love. But if we do not realize that He is love first, because He loves us could be enough to persuade us to realize that He is.
God by way of Jesus put man’s salvation before His life, took on our pain, cared enough to die for us even though, let’s face it; we do not deserve His love.  What can we do to thank Him?  Pray, read the Word, Talk with other believers to get to know Him more. We can try to be good, because God is good. Since we have this Holy Spirit comforter, we have an ability to be good to one another, to be kind, to be loving of one another; because God lives in us and through us and all things are possible through Him.
Heavenly Father, Help us to walk in Your love each day in all we do, in Jesus’ name. amen.
