Dailies ~ in His Word

March 2019
So many psalms make me really break into worship but this is one that I cannot read without singing it! In our resolve to read a psalm a day this week I have found so many wonderful words of love, joy , hope and worship of our God.

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.  Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness... Psalm 95:1-8
We need to be sure we take time to have musical worship of our Lord each day; allowing our hearts to sing out His praise is musical worship. Allowing our entire being break out in song, or doing something for someone that fills a need is also worship, its what I like to think of as our ‘spiritual act of worship’.
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Romans 12:1-3
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

Heavenly Father, we worship You today in spirit and in truth, in our songs of praise and in our living our lives for You, in Jesus’ name, amen.
