Dailies 2019

Dailies `in His Word
February 23
Sometimes I wonder why God put me here on earth; what is my purpose anyway? Is it to encourage other people? Or to write my hearts cries?  Am I even supposed to do any writing at all?
Years ago I was a Woman’s Bible Study leader; I wrote some I bought some, but I lead the study each week. It was stressful at times but so fulfilling to spend time with other women learning what God had for us and gleaning from on another. Then my home-schooled kids grew up, and the Study split in two groups so we could fit it was so big! I loved that! Then more studies started called Cell, or Life groups and I was no longer the only study. People stopped coming, some passed away, others got jobs and since it was a during the day time study…you get the picture.
So when I wonder; God gives me a thought or two to write about.
Where do you go when you need to know who you are and what you should do with the rest of your life or even the minute you are in?
My heart is overflowing with a good theme;I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1
“Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: ' Write in a book for yourself all the words I have spoken to you.' Jeremiah 30:2
I go to the Rock of my salvation, my God, me Jesus and ask Him what do I do? He encourages me with the Word of God.  I am speaker, and a writer.  If nothing else I know I am able to do these things through Christ who speaks to my heart and minds and gives me place to teach  both when I get to speak, and to write!
Ask God why He put you here in the world that we live in. Ask him to show you a scripture that shows you the “Why…” of you!
I learned last week at a conference that my job is to have faith, and God is in the outcome. I learned to look for the why I write!
Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us purpose and a plan. Show us today what You have for us, that we may walk in the path that You lay before us. In Jesus’ name amen.
