Dailies – in His Word
February 21
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:6-10
Do you ever notice how much trouble comes at you in unrelated areas when you try to do something you believe God wants you to do?  It’s like the enemy doesn’t want you to share the Gospel or feed the hungry whether spiritual hunger or physical it an be tiring at times.
The Word of God tells us not to grow weary, but to keep it going because God is with us. He knows that if we sow in kindness we will reap the same.  If we sew in a bad attitude we will reap the same too. I know I am guilty of being snarky back at people occasionally, as much as anyone else I am sure, but I try to be kind in thought and speak good things. Unfortunately I do not always stay strong in the Spirit enough to not grow weary and I do loose heart. The good news is that when this happens we can go to the Lord, or the Word of God  and find peace and encouragement for our souls!  God is great and He will not leave us to wallow alone, He will pull us up and put us on higher ground so the mud of life cannot get to us. He will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him!
Heavenly Father, help me to keep my attitude up no matter what goes on around me. Help me be strong in my resolve to follow after You and Your directions. In Jesus name, amen
