Dailies~ In His Word
February 17
Sometimes we make plans and everything seems like it will be
perfect but someone throws a wrench in it, as they say.
There are many plans
in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. Proverbs 19:21
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. Proverbs 19:21
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight
yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust
also in Him, and He shall bring it to
pass. Psalm 37:3-5
The thing is, we all can come up with great plans for things but
they just don’t always work the way everyone thinks they should. When we put
God in the plans then things will go according to His plans not mans. That does
not mean everyone will agree with you and your plans, even if God ordains them.
The Bible is full of times when God’s people did not listen to
reason and ended up in turmoil because of it. They wanted things to go one way
an God said to do something else, they complained and He gave in so they could
find out why He wanted them to do the other. Things that are put to God and
that are followed by us, His people, will prosper; they will come to pass just
as He said they would. We just need to be sure we are following His guidance in
our plans then it will work itself out! Just trust Him and put Him first.
Heavenly Father, thank you for everything You help us with, help
us to follow Your directions and get the job done in Your time, Your way and
Your path, in Jesus name, amen.
