Dailies ~
in His Word

Sometimes we just give
up to soon when God has something for us to do. Have you ever done that? You
get all excited because God calls you until you see what God has for you to do?
Then you hurry up and wait.
There was a day when I
was suffering with a messed up shoulder, wrist and arm. God said He would heal
us if we had faith. I was in a lot of pain for a long while and waiting for God
to heal me. I felt like He had forgotten about me and cried out to Him why had
he forsaken me. He let me know by reminding me that He had not forsaken Jesus
on the cross, nor would He forsake me. It took a few years and another injury
to find out God would heal me. But the timing was perfect! The person who
prayed for me followed God’s plan for her and prayed a prayer of faith that
healed. I felt the healing. An then felt the need to continue to surgery. The
kicker is that after I woke up and found out they no longer could find the tear
on my rotator cuff I also found out I
had had a piece of bone floating around in there from the time I had been hit
by a car the day my husband proposed to me. That is another story, but the
point is God has a plan He healed me. In His way, and in His time! To God be
the glory!
But,
beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand
years as one day. The Lord is not slack
concerning His promise, as some
count slackness, but is longsuffering toward is, not willing that any
should perish but that all should come to repentance. 1 Peter 3:8-9
Heavenly Father, thank
you for Your perfect timing. Help me to be patient and wait when I make a
request known to You. In Jesus name, amen.
