I hope you have a wonderful day today and that this week you take the time to think about what God wants to do with you in the coming year. I don't put a lot of stock in "New Year's Resolutions" but I do believe in putting on paper, or screen a few goals to attempt to achieve during the coming year. These generally deal with reading my Bible more, reaching out to share the Gospel with those I can and giving them the opportunity to believe in Christ as Lord.
What will you do this year to make a difference for Jesus? He really has given us a lot in my family we have fairly good health, we have enough food and some to share... I just wonder sometimes what people do when they don't have Christ to share their needs and desire with? Sure they have friends and family right? Maybe not for everyone, but for me Christ is the answer for all things I need. If I am hungry, He provides sustenance if I need clothing, He provides money or opportunity to receive via working or whatever. He has given me a loving family, that though we all have our quirks and get on each others nerves for a time; but we love one another still.
I hope that while you think about what you will accomplish in 20 14 that you will take the time to see what you can give back for Him.
Some ways we can do this is to pay it forward; bless someone in line behind you or before you even when you can, buy a full bag of groceries and hand them over to the beggar on the on ramp. Watch as they get choked up over the blessing and know that you made a difference in someones life.
