Let us encourage one another to do good…when we pray today we will use this verse
In the old KJV we are encouraged ot to cause others to have issues but instad to encourage them after the same manner of which we have come to know Jesus and are working to live a life pleasing to God we want othrs in our lives to live the same. So we need to work to, or learn to in some cases, pray for one another to be living the right life by getting I the Word daily. Applying it to our lives, we can then help them tolearn toapply it to their lives. Yes sometimes I like to go back to the old King James version to get that view. Whenwe go back to the start of our salvation days, like when we first realized the Lord Jesus was God and came to die that we would not have to suffer as we should and yet still be reconsiled with God. We are able to walk and talk with God Himself at any moment and that gives us the boldness to draw nearer in the full assuance that we will be okay in His presence because He indeed has invited us in.
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.Hebrews 10:19-20
Continue on to Chapter 12 in Hebrews and we can see why we need to pray for one another to be encouraged to do the right things and put aside the sinful nature, even of jealousy and complaining. When you have over come something in your life you can pray for someone else. You can pray for patience, yes if you need to learn it God will teach you it, but that is a good thing. So put it down and pick up the encouragement you recived and pray for one another to findit too! Then we can become not just right with God but a person who furthers the kingdom as Jesus tells us to, teach them, pray for them, and do not pick up bad habits again!
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(15) …looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
[28] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear…Hebrews 12:1-2, 15-16 and 28.
Heavenly Father, help us to lay aside our own things, sins etc,. that caused us issues and pray for our friends to come to know you as we do that they may lay aside the things and do likewise, help us to pray, apply, and live in Your Word, in prayer and fellowship, in Jesus’ name
