He Pours it Out--Faith, Hope and Love- In His Word 4-28-2024
Then He goes on with more!
There is a lot of addition in the Word of God!
God made Adam, . subtracted a rib and summed it up with Eve!
Okay, come on you now it was funny! Well, the next addition on my agenda
is in the scriptures below. For those who do not know this, God wanted to build
on our faith.
So, we have to have faith to believe, but He did not want us to stop
just knowing and believing that we are saved. He wants us to go further! Once
we begin our walk in Christ we find there are some issues we have to deal with,
some ours and some the people in our lives. So He said to add to faith.
He gives us hope eventually.
When we run into the issues I mentioned above it causes us to develop
perseverance. Then that brings us Character!
Now hope is not a disappointment because with that hope we receive
and see, and yes even feel the love of God that has been poured out in our
hearts. This causes us to overflow with the love of God and pour it out on
others.
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we
have peace[a] with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved
privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to
sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials,
for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops
strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of
salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how
dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts
with his love.
Romans 5:1-5
Of course, none of this is done alone. IT all comes with the presence
of the Holy Spirit, God’s spirit, guiding us along on the path of life He laid
out before us.
That’s why people who are broken or ill can have hope, and can have
peace, and can have joy; because they have the Holy Spirit guiding them through
the land minds of life. Then when its time they will be lead right to Jesus. We
will too of course, if we keep our mind on Him and follow His direction we will
also have peace!
God is so amazing He just guides us and add to our lives so many
gifts!
Let’s thank HIm, for all that He gives us today and thank Him for
helping us through the rough times. In Jesus’ name.
