No Word too Small~ In His Word 3-4-2024

No Word too Small-in His Word 3-4-2024

Today I asked the Lord to let His light shine through me wherever I go. Looking back in retrospect I really had a different idea!

But God! Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.  “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my Word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.  It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”                                                                Isaiah 55:6-11

I was so excited because of things God has done in my life that when someone asked how my day was I was quite bubbly with excitement to tell them! I shared so much that I rabbit trailed and did not let my story end! Haha! As I walked out of the store and grabbed my groceries to quickly head to my car I caught my shoe edge on a cart and would have possibly fallen,  but God!  God provided another woman with a full cart of groceries slowly into my path to catch me with her cart! That may not have been her plan, but God had a plan! I got to share with her that I had just been bragging about not falling, then laughed and said well y ou know the Word says “Pride goes before the fall!” We both laughed, though I don’t think she got it, I did not fall either! God was getting the glory in my bragging not me, but it could have sounded that way to someone who had not heard the full story!

I think I want you to know that when God does something and stops us in our tracks we need to take note! He had a purpose in that! I slowed down, I enjoyed my walk to my car with groceries in hand and smiled as I got in! Whether or not the other person got blessed by helping me not fall, I know God’s word will flow through their life today because His Word does not come back void.

It is not for me to worry if what I said made a life changing impact, it is my job to share the God stuff that He has done!  It is my job to let others know God is at work today, to share the truth with them of what He has done. The rest is up to them and the Holy Spirit!

It takes a lot of stress off of us when we realize that our job is not to carry them, but to pass them the info to get them to Jesus and let them carry themselves or allow Him to pick them up!

Rejoice what God has done in your life today!

Did He give you breath?

Did you eat food?

Did you have clothing to wear?

God’s word says not to worry about these things, that means He will provide, and I am pretty certain He has provided for you if you are reading this blog post today!

I am going to keep this short, just go share the good things God has done for you today! If you are at work, share with the person sitting next to you, or closest!  If you are at home tell your roomies, or kids! Let them know that God loves them just like He loves you today!

Years ago, I was blessed to lead a couple of kids to Christ. One of them wanted to read the Bible for herself, so I gave her a new testament and told her if she read it all the way through I would give her a full bible. I required a parental note saying yes she did. So when I gave it to her she took it to school. Oops? Nope! This 8 year old girl put me to shame!  She came to tell me she got told she could not share about Jesus in school.  I told her that she could talk to her friend on the playground because that’s outside and it is all God’s world!

She took that to heart!  Next thing I knew she had given away the first Bible, New Testament, to a friend, and was asking if I could get her another one!  They ended up with a little 8 year old evangelizing her playground!  Someone told me they sat in a circle and read the Bible together at lunch! How exciting! If  little 8 year old girl can do this, so can you!

Be blessed in whatever reaction you get!  In Jesus name!
