Be Bold, Be Strong…In His Word 10-16-2023.
Be bold be strong for the Lord your God is with
you wherever you go. Joshua 1:3-9
He will never leave you nor forsake you, so you
are never alone. Romans 13:5
He loves you more than life itself, well sort
of, because Jesus gave his life for you!
For God so loved the world that He gave us His one
and only Son,,, John 3:16
Some days it is easier to forget these
important points that the Word of God has given us to stand on. The days that
we listen to lies that say we are alone, we are weak, nobody loves us. These
are lies that the Word of God, the sword of the spirit, and the rest of the
armor of God are here to fight back and not accept the lies that we hear
ourselves think, The Word of God has something to say about that!
Above all be careful of what you think because your thoughts control yoru
life. As I read this in a daily read
today I was convicted! I know this truth was meant just for me as I was
allowing thoughts to restrict my life.
Thoughts about healing, and pain that would not
seem to be a ‘bad thought’ had snuck in. You know the thoughts that tell you
that the pain will last forever, the healing was slow in coming. Of course, I
know that God is never slow but right on time! Often when we go through an
injury or situation we must suffer through we can find a growth lesson in it!
My lesson for today is to not allow my thoughts to control my life in a bad way,
or contrary to the Word of God and faith that God will do what He has promised.
So, when the ‘words of your thoughts’ get you
down you pick up the Word of God!
I know I quote it a lot, but I had to do it
today, I had to ;think on these things;!
And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me or seen in me—put it
into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:7-9
Let your conduct be without
covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my
helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
“O my God, I have been bold enough
to pray to you because you have revealed to your servant that you will build a
house for him—a dynasty of kings! For you are God, O Lord. And you have
promised these good things to your servant.1 Chronicles 1:25-26
I am fully convinced, my dear
brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so
well you can teach each other all about them. Even so, I have been bold enough
to write about some of these points, knowing that all you need is this
reminder. For by God’s grace, I am a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you
Gentiles. I bring you the Good News so that I might present you as an
acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit Romans 15:14-16
These things are meant to encourage us. These
scriptures remind us of the goodness that God has put in us and has planned for
us that we may share with others how we got through hard situations, sorrowful
times, and feelings of just ‘not enough’.
Today with the boldness I find in them I want
to shout out loud. “ENOUGH!”
Get thee behind me Satan because you hae to
dominion here! “
I could at “I rebuke you!” because the Word of God says to rebuke the devil and he will flee!
Today I hope
your takeaway from this read is to be bolder and not accept the worry or
stress you tell yourself. That you will stand strong and boldly go where you
may not have gone before and shout down those thoughts that the enemy tries get
you to believe! He has not place in your life if you have accepted Christ in
it! He can’t touch you, but he tries to get
you to think he can.
Just take a moment to get those thoughts out of your head, tell the enemy to
flee and trust God to keep you as you walk one step, or one limp, at a time
through the muddy life path! He will not
leave you there! Even if He is walking you to the end of this world and into
the next!
With God you are enough! Be blessed with that
thought!
