Something more? Count Down Day 24
It is my tradition to wait for Christmas Eve to get one last item. It is not
something I need to get so if it is not there it is okay. Sometimes its just
something random that I choose to grab just so I can go out into the masses and
spread the love of Christmas with them!
I mean I have been known to give up my spot in line to a person who
seems stressed but its not just about that; its about helping out those who are
lost and dying in the world without hope.
We have that gift of hope within us as Christians so what better day than
the eve of the Christ birth can we share the love God gave us to give?
What will you do today? What is
your Christmas eve tradition? How do you spread the love of Jesus?
Go do it! Go tell somebody! The
scripture below will connect you to a story when Jesus sent a man, whom he had just
delivered from demons, away from
following him into the boat with his disciples but told him to go tell his
friends and family what God had done for him. We need to do the same!
However, Jesus did not permit him,
but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the
Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” Mark 5:19
The Shepherds, the wisemen, the
prophets; so many we read this week went and told everyone!
Over and over Jesus tells us to
love one another! Let’s do that today! Go share the love of Jesus with someone
out there struggling to make the day meaningful! In Jesus’ name.
Merry Christmas!
In His love,
Teresa Wilson
