Dailies ~in His
Word
June 14, 2019
Open the eyes
of my heart Lord, I want to see you, I want to hear you, I want to know you
more, I want to see your face…
Sometimes life
can be so full up that we forget the wonderful presence o the Lord is drawing
us to walk away from it all and to find a place with just He and you to visit
for a while. Whether it is the children or the coworkers that drain us of our
glory, as with Moses or our joy is stolen away by circumstances beyond our
control; He is calling us to follow Him today and to listen for His voice as it
tells us to follow Him not the people. To listen to His advice and not theirs He
is calling us to such a deeper walk with Him that these things grow dim in comparison.
He wants to delight us in His presence and draw us nearer to the waters that
cool us off and the mountains that separate us from the world and bring us
close to Him because the distractions are gone
But blessed are
your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear, for assuredly, I say to
you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see and did
not see and to hear what you hear and did not hear it. Matthew 13:8
Do you know
what you’ve got? My God has a desire to listen to my prayers, but even more so
He desires to spend time hiking, or walking, or kneeling or dancing in His
presence, like David did. Allowing all things that hinder us to drop, to walk
away, to be shielded as it were with a cloaking device; for in His presence all
things fade away and are truly dim in comparison; none of it matters when we
are basking in His presence drawing from His heart to ours. I believe if we desire to see and hear
spiritually today my friend, that we will have our eyes and ears opened to more
than just possibilities but to see what He is truly talking of in Chapter 13,
the parables of Jesus tell us so much, they give us such insight to what He
wants in our lives, and what He has given to us. What we need to do is to just
pay attention to what He is saying!
Listen up! Hear
the Word of the Lord as He draws you closer still!
Heavenly
Father, open the eyes of our hearts, and the ears of our souls that we may see
and hear what You tell and show us! In Jesus’ name, amen!
