Dailies ~in His Word
April 11, 2019
When I first “got saved” I had to write my name in the back
of the Gideons New Testament that I had found out how to believe with. It tells
you to sign your name and date it, then go tell someone. The first thing I did
was write my name and date it; in pencil. ‘Just in case I decided to change my
mind about believing’. About a year later I went in and rewrote it in pen
because I knew by then that this was a real thing and I totally was all in for
Jesus! I even put a bumper sticker on my
car that said He lives!
I wanted everyone to know what I knew! So to say I
confessed Him before men was an understatement at the time! Usually when a
person first believes it’s like a total party in your heart! Tons of stress drops and freedom is just
flying all around us. Then eventually we realize that we got freedom, but we
need to walk in the life we live bringing that freedom along with us. The Holy
Spirit helps us there because He joins us when we accept that Christ is Lord.
We can walk through the daily grind because He is with us. So why not tell
someone today what Jesus did for you?
“Also
I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will
confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will
be denied before the angels of God. “And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven
him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be
forgiven. “Now when they bring you
to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or
what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very
hour what you ought to say.” Luke 12:8-12
Heavenly Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit helping us
to share Your Word and what You have done in our lives. Grant us boldness in
You to share the Word with the world. In Jesus name, amen
