As we find ourselves heading back into the battle of the work or school
places from being on vacation mode it can be difficult to push our brains to
accept the once again newness of daily grinding out the cells. I mean, we have
been giving ourselves enjoyment over stress, information, strict regimented
time slots and suddenly we have to walk the walk of working every day again.
Today can be a day to drag by or it can be one in which we count our blessings
and head on forward into the new week.
Blessed is every
one who fears the Lord, who walks in His
ways.
When you
eat the labor of your hands, you shall
be happy, and it shall be well
with you.
Psalm 128:1-2
And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the
foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Hebrews 1:10
We have God as an example to go back to
the work of our hands, He started the world with work, and so we too should
work as we walk in His path that He puts before us. Whatever He has given us to
do, let us walk in that and work the work He puts before us. Whether it is
digging ditches or programming software that sends people to Mars; we are to
walk the walk He has given us. We are to walk it knowing we are doing the work
He has put before us and find that perfect place to share His love with those around
us in whatever we are doing today.
Let’s do what Jesus does, let’s walk the
walk He puts for us to walk in His ways.
Then we too can be happy and it will also be
well with us!
Thank you Father for today, help us to walk
