Fearless and Unstoppable in His Word 5-30-16

Can you be fearless and unstoppable in His Word? 5-30-16
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Psalm 56:4

What does it mean to be unstoppable? It means nothing can keep you from the task at hand. So if you are unstoppable for Jesus it means that nothing you do in the name of the Lord will be stopped or incomplete. When we are in Christ we are unstoppable!
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:22-24

Disconnected is another thing we cannot be in Christ. For when we are in Christ He is with us always, He will never forsake us nor leave us. We are always connected to the source once we first plug in to Christ.
He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
He went on a little farther and fell to the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by. “Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” Mark 14

We can think of it like a new computer cord. The old one may have had cracks I the wires or a connector defect but once it is replaced the power source is strong.
When we choose to believe that Jesus is the Christ we receive that new plug, but not only that He gives us a whole new battery to charge with it! For when we are I Christ we are a new creation, that means our lives are become new and we get rid of the old cords, and old failing batteries and recharge ourselves with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39

So how do we keep the charge? We plug in to the Word of God, gain growth and understanding via the Holy Spirit and we pray to keep that connection strong. It really is that simple, and it really is real.
There is only one more thing that can charge up your battery and that is spending time worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. When we are truthful in our worship we are saying words that are from our heart to His, not just cause it has a good beat but because it pulls at our heartbeat. You know what I mean, the kind of song that makes you sit up and take notice, or makes you want to bow down and worship Him on your knees. The songs you sing and the words you speak in worship must be truthful or you are just singing or speaking stuff out.
Don’t try to fake it!

He knows the difference, you can’t fake worshiping. Remember everything God does is a heart matter.
While choosing worship for Vacation Bible School the Children’s pastors will listen to many songs and decide which ones will draw the little children to focus on Jesus. They vary from fast fun to soft and heartfelt and generally most of the kids will go home from worship with a song in their heart and a Bible truth as well.
Sometimes we do not feel so unstoppable. When this happens we need to turn on our praise music, remember the things that God has done in the past and begin to thank Him for them. When the Israelites were basically turned loose on their new lands God gave instruction for the people to remind their descendents of the things they went through because  it would help them to get through the times they would have it rough and help them to focus on Him. Of course being humans they did not always do this and things got really bad at times throughout history; but God pulled a remnant through and from His people came His son Jesus. God wants to use you today, but you must believe that with God you are truly unstoppable.
Dear Heavenly Father, help us today to be unstoppable for You and to do Your will in all that we do. Let us work our jobs in life to be pleasing to You, in Jesus name. Amen.
